12 May 2016 | General Interest

At the final school assembly for Term 1, St John’s school community congratulated and farewelled, Mrs Ann Larkins on her retirement.   Mrs Larkins has been on staff at  St John's for more than 20 years, teaching both Music and Italian during that time.

Mrs Larkins' musical talent has contributed greatly to our school, inspiring individual student's musical and vocal abilities whilst also leading the students through many school concerts, musicals, choir performances, masses and liturgies. In 2015 Mrs Larkins was instrumental in writing our school song which was recorded as a whole school performance.

Mrs Larkins intends to return at a later date to continue private music lessons with students at St John's however her immediate priority is to spend more time with her family and to travel more extensively with her husband, John.
