Sustainability – Nude Food Tuesdays

St John’s School is creating a greater awareness of sustainability in our school community by introducing ‘Nude Food Tuesdays’ for the remainder of the year and by providing paper and cardboard recycling boxes in all classrooms.

All students, from Foundation to Grade 6, will be learning more about sustainability during STEM classes throughout Term 2.

Our Nude Food Tuesdays aims to encourage families to provide a rubbish free lunch for students at school.

‘Nude Food’ is food that comes to school without disposable packaging – extra plastic bags, paper bags, wrappings, cling wraps, tetra packs or disposable plastic tubs.
