Stations of the Cross

Our whole school event to celebrate Easter will be our re-enactment of the Stations of the Cross.

The Stations of the Cross is a Catholic tradition where the events of Holy Week, the significant events in the days leading to the crucifixion of Jesus, are highlighted through reflection, prayer and often actions.

It may seem unusual to highlight and reflect on the harshness and cruelty of events leading to a crucifixion, even with consideration to that being the punishment of those times, however our true focus is on the utter and complete unconditional love that Jesus showed towards his Father’s will, and ultimately for our sake.

The Stations of the Cross reminds us of the signifance of the Crucifix in our Catholic tradition and the powerful prayer, ‘In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Please join us as our students lead us through this reflective experience…
