Congratulations and thanks to Rhiannon McFarlane and all staff involved in co-ordinating rehearsals, students and their costumes, props, trave,l ticketing etc.

Our school recognised RU OK Day with a Bike & Blend Wellbeing Day for staff and students. This wholesome initiative allowed students to choose a smoothy flavour and then pedal away to blend their own healthy smoothy.

Throughout the day, students were involved in various other wellbeing activities in the classroom focusing on looking after yourself and checking in on how others are going too.

The enthusiasm from everyone already suggests the repeat of the day next year with some additional ideas already being suggested as well.

Our senior students were treated to 3 days of fun in the natural surroundings of Phillip Island, reminding us all just how blessed are we to have such a beautiful place to explore so close to home.

Go-carts, beach walks, trivia, abseiling, mini golf and pelican feeding were some of the highlights spoken about on their return.

We sincerely thank staff for their support and committment to their students by attending this camp.

Footy Day was a great success. Both sstudents & staff dressed in support of their favoured team, with a variety of football codes represented. Following a parade of teams featuring each of the club theme songs, St John’s Official Ladder was announced with Collingwood taking out top spot with Richmond & then Essendon close behind.

Various footy inspired activities were carried out in the classrooms throughout the day.

Our Fathers’ Day Breakfast and Liturgy was a great success.  A huge thank you to our amazing staff who started their day very early in order to provide this opportunity for our Dad’s and the special men in our student’s lives, to celebrate in this way.

The smiles and chatter going on was lovely to see. A big ‘thank you’ also to the sponsors who supported the raffle organised by our Parents & Friends Organisation.
